Your lenses get made after you order them.
Nothing's sitting in a bin waiting for you. Once you pick your color, we cut that pair in our own lab to the exact shape of the frames you love.
-
Profile
We keep a measured profile for every frame we cut, taken from a real lens. Yours gets matched to it.
-
Edging
Your lens gets cut down to that outline, groove angle included. That's what makes it click in and stay put.
-
Coating
Hard coat and anti-reflective go on together, and UV protection is built into the material itself.
-
Sign-off
An optician checks it against your order before it ships. Anything off gets recut.
Most of what you'd pay an optician isn't the lens.
Single vision prescription, starting price, compared like for like.
Coatings aren't an add-on here. Hard coat and anti-reflective come standard on everything we cut, and the 365-day guarantee is the same whichever tint you pick.
Swapping them yourself takes a few minutes.
We know it looks like something you could get wrong. It really isn't. Two thumbs and a kitchen table is the whole setup, and on Ray-Ban Meta frames the electronics never come into it.
Hold them from behind and pull gently up on the top rim, down on the bottom. That's enough to loosen the lens in its groove.
Thumbs on the inside, steady pressure forward until it pops out of the groove. You'll hear a click or two, and that's supposed to happen.
Angle the nose edge in first, then work your thumbs around the rim until it sits flush. Keep your old pair in the case we send.
Want a name you already know on the lens?
We cut ZEISS®, Hoya® and Transitions® in the same lab, on the same machines, with the same turnaround as our own glass.
German optics, and the name most opticians reach for first. Cut here to your prescription.
Japanese lenses with a deep coating range, for when you already know the exact spec you want.
The photochromic everyone actually means. Clear indoors, tinted the moment you step out.

Questions people ask us
How do I know these will fit?
We know frame numbers are confusing. Check inside the temple arm of the frames and you'll find the model code and lens width printed there. Match that to the listing and the size is handled. Can't find it? Send us a photo of the arm and we'll read it for you.
Will swapping the lenses mess with the cameras or speakers? Meta only
No. All the electronics live in the frame and the arms. The lens is a passive piece sitting in a groove at the front, so taking it out never goes anywhere near them.
Does fitting these affect my Ray-Ban warranty?
Fitting a lens doesn't open the frame or touch any of the electronics, and the lens is a replaceable part. What we can't do is speak for Ray-Ban or Meta about their own hardware warranty, so if that's a deciding factor for you, check with them before you order. Our 365-day guarantee covers the lens we make you either way.
Can I get these in my prescription?
Yes. Single vision, progressive and reading, all cut in house. Pick your options above and add your script when we ask for it. Single vision starts at $75. Worth knowing: the guarantee covers defects, not a change in your prescription later on.
Why are these cheaper than lenses from Ray-Ban?
You're paying for the optics instead of the logo. We cut them ourselves, so there's no distributor, no retail markup and no licensing fee riding on the price.
What if they’re not right?
Return or exchange them within 45 days of delivery, no questions asked, as long as they're in their original condition and packaging. Every lens is also covered for 365 days against defects in materials or workmanship. Full Vision Guarantee.
