45-day returns

Exchange or return your order free within 45 days of delivery — we cover the first exchange.

Once your return arrives and is inspected we will tell you the outcome, and approved refunds go back to your original payment method.

Prescription and replacement lenses are custom-made, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind or a mistyped prescription. Please double-check your model number and prescription before ordering.

HSA/FSA accepted

HSA and FSA cards work directly at checkout. If your vision plan also allows out-of-network reimbursement, you can claim after buying from us — most providers reimburse up to $100 for prescription lenses or glasses.

  1. Check your coverage. Most providers support out-of-network claims.
  2. Get your invoice. Your confirmation email includes an itemised invoice with everything the claim needs.
  3. Get reimbursed. Submit it through your provider’s form — most claims take 2–3 weeks.

Your frames are fine. It's the lens that needs replacing.

Scratched, hazy, or just the wrong tint for how you actually use them. You don't need new glasses, you need new lenses. We cut them to fit your Meta glasses exactly, so you keep the frames you love.

400nm

Blocks every damaging UVA and UVB ray. It's built into the lens itself, so it won't wear off.

±0.1mm

How closely we match your original lens profile when we cut the edge.

85%

How much light our photochromic cuts in full sun. Step inside and it clears up on its own.

365 days

Covered against defects in materials and workmanship from the day it arrives. Our Vision Guarantee.

Your lens starts here, as uncut optical glass

Your lenses get made after you order them.

Nothing's sitting in a bin waiting for you. Once you pick your color, we cut that pair in our own lab to the exact shape of the frames you love.

  • Profile

We keep a measured profile for every frame we cut, taken from a real lens. Yours gets matched to it.

  • Edging

Your lens gets cut down to that outline, groove angle included. That's what makes it click in and stay put.

  • Coating

Hard coat and anti-reflective go on together, and UV protection is built into the material itself.

  • Sign-off

An optician checks it against your order before it ships. Anything off gets recut.

Most of what you'd pay an optician isn't the lens.

Single vision prescription, starting price, compared like for like.

Coatings aren't an add-on here. Hard coat and anti-reflective come standard on everything we cut, and the 365-day guarantee is the same whichever tint you pick.

Swapping them yourself takes a few minutes.

We know it looks like something you could get wrong. It really isn't. Two thumbs and a kitchen table is the whole setup, and on Meta frames the electronics never come into it.

Step 1
Flex the frame open

Hold them from behind and pull gently up on the top rim, down on the bottom. That's enough to loosen the lens in its groove.

Step 2
Push the old lens out

Thumbs on the inside, steady pressure forward until it pops out of the groove. You'll hear a click or two, and that's supposed to happen.

Step 3
Drop the new one in

Angle the nose edge in first, then work your thumbs around the rim until it sits flush. Keep your old pair in the case we send.

Want a name you already know on the lens?

We cut ZEISS®, Hoya® and Transitions® in the same lab, on the same machines, with the same turnaround as our own glass.

ZEISS®

German optics, and the name most opticians reach for first. Cut here to your prescription.

Hoya®

Japanese lenses with a deep coating range, for when you already know the exact spec you want.

Transitions®

The photochromic everyone actually means. Clear indoors, tinted the moment you step out.

Fast shipping and Great customer Service

Unfortunately the lenses did not work out for me as I wanted lenses with greater darkness in the sun (I live in Florida). The tint was too light. Customer service was excellent in they quickly resolved to my satisfaction.

Questions people ask us

How do I know these will fit?

We know frame numbers are confusing. Check inside the temple arm of the frames and you'll find the model code and lens width printed there. Match that to the listing and the size is handled. Can't find it? Send us a photo of the arm and we'll read it for you.

Will swapping the lenses mess with the cameras or speakers? Meta only

No. All the electronics live in the frame and the arms. The lens is a passive piece sitting in a groove at the front, so taking it out never goes anywhere near them.

Does fitting these affect my Meta warranty?

Fitting a lens doesn't open the frame or touch any of the electronics, and the lens is a replaceable part. What we can't do is speak for Meta about their own hardware warranty, so if that's a deciding factor for you, check with them before you order. Our 365-day guarantee covers the lens we make you either way.

Can I get these in my prescription?

Yes. Single vision, progressive and reading, all cut in house. Pick your options above and add your script when we ask for it. Single vision starts at $75. Worth knowing: the guarantee covers defects, not a change in your prescription later on.

Why are these cheaper than going through an optician?

You're paying for the optics instead of the logo. We cut them ourselves, so there's no distributor, no retail markup and no licensing fee riding on the price.

What if they’re not right?

Return or exchange them within 45 days of delivery, no questions asked, as long as they're in their original condition and packaging. Every lens is also covered for 365 days against defects in materials or workmanship. Full Vision Guarantee.
