How dark will my photochromic lenses get?

Photochromic lenses darken when exposed to UV light, but temperature affects the final tint too. They reach their darkest in cooler conditions, so on hot summer days they won't get quite as dark as they do in cold weather. This is completely normal — it's how all photochromic lenses behave.
